Below the Crust is a compact browser drilling game about choosing how far to push each dive. Pilot a white drill sub from the Orbital Rig, cut through layered rock, gather Alloy, and route toward the glowing core at the planet’s centre.

Charge drains constantly. Hard rock takes more out of the tank, thermal pockets punish careless routes, and the deeper payoff is never quite free. Scoop up lime Charge cells, use Rook’s Burst Drive to break through a tight seam, or extract early and keep what you have.

HOW TO PLAY

Move: WASD or the on-screen left control.

Burst Drive: Space or tap ROOK / BURST.

Extract: use EXTRACT in the top-right to bank the Alloy you are carrying.

Win a dive: reach the glowing core to auto-extract with your haul.

BETWEEN DIVES

Spend banked Shell Alloy in the Skill Map. Permanent upgrades improve maximum Charge, drill power, Burst cooldown, and Alloy yield for every future descent.

If Charge reaches zero, the sub automatically returns and banks the Alloy you collected.
